just take cuttings which include nodes, and go away about an inch of stem underneath the nodes. The leaf nodes are small bumps to the stem the place new leaves expand. once you use these cuttings to increase new plants in water, roots will grow within the nodes. it could be difficult to know when your prayer plant has taken root in soil, so gently
